Midi Frenzy!

Can you tell I've been on a midi craze lately? I've nvr thought of myself wearing midis cause there's this number 1 rule for petite girls and that's to nvr wear midis cause they make you look shorter. But after trying it out, I've realised that it really depends on the length. Petite girls can look equally nice in a midi and rock it if it's the perfect length!

Recently, blogshops have been launching midis at a slightly shorter length, around 23-24" and that's really awesome cause it's the perfect length for a midi for my height! (: In fact, eyeing on the TCL one launching tmr hehe. Shopping ban fail.

When putting tgt this outfit, I wanted to dress up and look a little more mature. I guess it's cause the midi is in forest green which is a little more work ish. Paired it with a basic blouse (which Zara is having a sale for it now btw) and my trusty espadrilles and I was good to go!

Photos of some of my favourite ppl even though I only see them a few times a year! June hols has been a blast for me cause I spent almost everyday going out and catching up with my dear friends. Even though some ppl might think I'm wasting my time cause I should be studying and what not, just want to say that quality time spent with my friends mean the world to me and there's much more to life than studying. And the bunny went hop hop.

This is actually the very first midi I got but only wore it out a few days ago! I wonder why too cause it's just so lovely! I absolutely adore the poofiness of this skirt and it really reminds me of a ballerina's tutu. I felt rather princess ish the whole day in this skirt and believe it or not but all I wanted to do was to hop around and spin in circles haha!

Decided to pair it with this blouse which I've previously blogged about here(: It's one of my favourite because of the collar detail. Makes it look really preppy. I've also decided to use this headband cause the colour matches the blouse really well and just when I was thinking about what bag to use, I came across this bunny bag which was hidden deep in my wardrobe hahaha.

Woven Summer

And I'm back to wearing my favourite colour! After experimenting with new colours, well mainly black, I still find that white suits me the most. I always hear ppl saying that I should wear dark colours cause I'm fair but ironically, white is my favourite haha!

Today's post features a lovely tube dress from Love Bonito. I really like the details at the top. It's really subtle but yet, is what makes the dress really stand out. I've seen several blogshops selling a similar design too! Decided to go with white for this piece simply cause it's my favourite colour. If not, I probably would have gotten this in lilac for a change!

Was contemplating between a pair of shades or the fedora and decided to go with the hat in the end! Really summer inspired and I'd actually wear this to the beach hehe. Speaking of summer, I can't believe holidays are ending alr! Back to school next week so that means I won't be able to blog that often ):

Glitter Turns 10!

For all the dog lovers out there, I'm sure you know what I mean when I say I can count on my dog for anything. Yes, there are times when she annoys me by pushing my head off my pillow, the occasional barking at the door, the tug of wear we have when she decides to claim the blanket as her, but at the end of the day, I'm so thankful to have both my dogs in my life(:

So Glitter turned 10 on 15 June and we decided to bring the 2 dogs to Paw Pet-Radise Cafe to get some food and meet some other dogs. We seldom bring them on car rides cause they both are really afraid of it and it's just torture throughout the ride hahaha. As expected, they were rather panicky and Dazzle was even whining(?) before she got on the car. I'm pretty sure it's cause she thinks we're bringing her to the vet for her jab (she absolutely hates it and she actually used her paws to scratch the door in an attempt to run out at the vet) so you can imagine the amount of scratching gng on in the car.

Can't believe it's been 10 years since we've had Glitter! That's more than half my life! She's been an amazing companion throughout the years and I still rmb how I used to lock myself up in the room with Glitter when I cried and it's almost as if she knows I'm sad haha. She'll either look at me with those puppy eyes of hers or just snuggle up next to me. 

So that's how my Sunday on 15 June went! Also met a lot of other dogs there and I saw Mia again! Didn't get a photo with her though cause she was at the back of the shop. Think it's cause the cafe was too full at that time. Maybe the next time we go back, my dad will be around haha!
