Changing It Up

Something a little different today! I felt really 'Hong Kong' in my jacket, shorts and bun haha! Here's my attempt at a messy bun. I actually went to search videos on how to tie a messy bun when you have insanely thick hair and I managed to pull it off! (with hairspray and most importantly, bobby pins)

I wore smth that isn't exactly my style today cause I wanted to wear my new loafers, jacket, shades and rings haha! It just so happens that all these 4 items channel a really street vibe so I wore a basic top and favourite denim shorts. I really like the lace detail on the top but I had to wear an inner cause it was too low. The back had a panel of lace straight down as well but I wasn't super comfortable with it so I'm glad my jacket came in handy. Plus, it was insanely cold in the train today for some reason hahaha.

I forsee lots of buns for my HK trip at the end of the year and I'm still so insanely excited at the idea of being a tourist in my own country!

Sweet Affair

Had this Fluro Lace Dress in purple from Her Velvet Vase for quite a long time alr but I nvr had the chance to wear it. Too many clothes alr hahaha. Okay but I love wearing lace recently. It just makes me feel real feminine and it's perfect for a date! I didn't have to worry about the length of the dress because it came with adjustable straps. For someone as petite as me, it really is a problem to find clothes that would fit me. Especially dresses that doesn't have adjustable straps cause it usually would just be too long. But since I went out with Jolene, I decided to throw on my white denim outerwear from New Look so that I won't look too dressy. I'm thinking of buying a blue denim outerwear actually. It goes well with everything! It helps to enhance your outfit and I love the idea of matching it with a dress because they tend to go really well. It's like a mixture of chic and girly. Paired it with my pair of basic black flats from Rubi and I'm all set and ready to go! Rubi flats are really really cheap especially when they have a crazy sale. Plain coloured flats are an essential in your shoes collection because they go well with everything. On days where I'm not sure what to wear, I just go with my black flats. Okay I need to do my PI now so till next time!
