Kraze Burger

Mega overdue post but here's where JL, John, Joel and I ate at before Phantom of the Opera! I haven't had time to blog about this place because I've been busy with other stuff. Well I'm taking a break from History now and I decided to finally do a post up on Kraze Burger.

If you know me, you'd know I'm not a fan of burgers. The only burger I eat is Sausage Mcmuffin with Egg and that's cause there isn't any vege in it. I don't eat anything raw and burgers tend to have a lot of raw vege. Take away the vege and you're basically left with 2 slices of bread and a patty in between :/ Doesn't sound appetizing at all right? Hence, I was originally a little apprehensive about eating at Kraze Burger. However, we were running late for Phantom and didn't have much time to eat! We just chose to eat at the place with the shortest queue. You wouldn't believe how crowded it was that day.

While we were queuing, JL and I decided to go out to take photos first to save time haha! John and Joel kindly(not really) agreed to stand in the queue HAHAHA. While we were taking photos outside, JL got a call from Joel to say that we have gotten seats alr. We then decided it would be best for them to order for us if not we will be late for Phantom. Both of us have nvr eaten at Kraze Burger before so we weren't sure what to order. That was when Joel came up with the fabulous idea, as quoted from him, "I'm going to surprise you." Well we didn't think it was a bad idea so we let him go ahead with it! I just told him that I wanted my burger to have no vege.

Because Joel was the one who ordered, I'm not sure what this dish is called. If I'm not wrong, this is the Idaho Fries. It's not spicy (thank god) so yay! This is really nice but it has beef in it. Which explains why John could only look at us with this famous gaze of his that he gives us in school when he wants our food.

As for our main course. Joel ordered the same dish for the both of us.

This should be the K.Onion. I'm looking through the online menu and it's the only burger with onion rings in it so it should be it! This is really very tasty actually. One of the best burgers I've had! And that's coming from a person who isn't a fan of burgers. The portion was just right as well. It had loads of onion rings and the beef patty was juicy and yummy (: Joel and I shared the same problem though. We had no idea how to eat it hahaha! It was soooo tall. So we ended up 'dissecting' it instead. We both created a huge mess as we slowly dismantled our burger. Haha no shame!

John ordered the Chicken Burger. He can't eat beef so his choice was quite limited. Hate to say it but we all agreed that his burger looked the most pathetic HAHAHA! It just seems to have a chicken patty and vege. Oh well, that's what happen when you can't eat beef. Feel quite bad for him actually but he looked like he enjoyed his meal so all's cool.

Here's what Joel ordered for JL. Unfortunately, I really have no idea what this burger is. I know it consists of a beef patty, cheese and vege. It's pretty much the same as ours just that hers doesn't have onion rings. Personally, I think what Jo ordered for the both of us was the best burger out of the rest.

Overall, the food there was really good! I can't wait to be back to have another burger hehehe. Maybe after promos?

PS. 2 days to the end of promos!

Study Date with Jolene!

4 more days to the end of promos! -Squeals in excitement- I can't wait to be able to go out every single day to meet up with some of my old friends and to try out new food places! Planning a brunch date next week with a few of my secondary school friends actually. Can't wait to catch up with them to find out what's the latest gossip hehehe.

Well promos are not over yet so I had a study date with Jolene today. It was a really fun study date actually. Probably the only time you'll see fun and study in the same sentence. We planned this yesterday and Jo offered to cook lunch!!!! Everyone knows Jo is awesome at cooking and I'm so happy my best friend can cook. I was starving when I woke up and it was just in time for lunch!

Jo cooked Chicken Thigh with Potatoes for herself while I had Pasta with Bacon. Pretty sure there's probably a fancier name for it but I didn't ask cause I was just way too hungry. Just wanted to snap a few shots and finally try her cooking! My pasta was pretty good and it felt soooo healthy! There was pretty much no oil in it. The best part about Jo's cooking is that it's mostly low fat and healthy! I get too eat without feeling guilty :D

I tried a few potatoes and wow, mind blowing. In fact, Jo had to cook extra potatoes for me about 2h later cause I was craving for it HAHAHA. Obviously didn't have enough potatoes during lunch.  Now I want to eat it... but it's 1am here ): Being dessert lovers, we had a Chocolate Lava Cake after lunch! It took only about 30 mins to bake it. I actually helped you know! I measured the stuff and whisk a little here and there. Ok sounds really pathetic but I don't usually cook or bake so it's a yay for me!

Even the plating looks good :D I was sooooo excited when I saw the cake! Thumbs up to Jo for making it pretty and tasty. I honestly think this is one of the best chocolate lava cake I've ever had. Maybe it's cause the idea of it being homemade just seems so... heartwarming haha! The chocolate was oozing out when we cut it open. We had it with BnJ's vanilla ice cream and it was perfect.

So I'm not sure if you realised but the title of this post is 'Study Date with Jolene!' but all I've been talking about is food... We did study! Just after lunch. Started at about 2.30pm and we spent half an hr spotting questions. Yup, praying that what we studied for will come out! It's just impossible to studying everything for History. Our brains will explode. Problems of being an Arts student...

Check out the mess we made while studying!

Nevertheless, a productive study date! We helped each other with History and had little conv in between to ensure we don't fall asleep. Once in awhile, I went to play with her dog, Bailey, as well! Speaking of Bailey, he is one of the most adorable dogs I've ever seen. For starters, he is way too small and cute. Glitter and Dazzle are about 4x Bailey's size! He is so tiny, I can carry him with 1 hand haha! Pretty much a puppy size just that he isn't really a puppy anymore. He was really obedient as well which really amazed me. He nvr barked once and he knows which part of the house he can't go to. Why can't my dogs be like that? If you haven't met them, I'm telling you now, they bark like crazy. I really love them but sometimes I get so frustrated by their barking. Oh well..

Presenting Bailey!

And here's Jo and me who decided to take photos to take a break from History.

After our productive study session, we decided to head to I12 for Black Ball. I've been craving for Black Ball for the past month but nvr got to buy it cause the branches are at places I don't usually go to. Glad I finally satisfied my craving :D

Then we went back to Jo's place and started playing Heads Up. Omg, did you know that there's an update for it?! You can now play it with 2 people acting it out. Totally going to be bugging my classmates to try it out after promos. They have really funny things such as CPR, Tango and even leap frog haha!

Well here's a picture of what I wore today! A really basic and comfy ensemble for a study date. The colour and prints on this pair of shorts are just too gorgeous!

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Funk

I'm really really happy cause I survived a week of grueling promos and am still going strong. Well emotionally. I'm actually down with a flu now ): Not the best time to fall ill but it's ok! Staying optimistic cause there's only 2 papers left!

So I wore this out for brunch with my family last Sunday which I'll blog about soon! My dad and aunt are back in HK alr nooooooo. Ok back to this hahaha. So my friends have told me that they nvr expected me to dress like this hehe. Then they said smth along the lines of "but you're Angie and you change your style everyday". My friends know me so well.

This crop top has been lying in my wardrobe since forever. The tag was still on when I saw it so I decided that it's time to wear it out. Paired it with a pair of shorts for a different kind of look. Normally I would pair it with a skirt but I felt funky that day HAHAHA. This pair of shorts reminded me of a painting. You know the effect water colour pencils have? It reminds me of it. Really simple and pretty. If you're someone like me who don't like to reveal too much, throw on a vest and you're ready to go!

Shoes wise, I tend to wear heels when I'm out with my family cause they can drive me around and I don't have to worry about falling every 5 mins on a bus/train. Wore my nude wedges simple cause my other heels won't match which reminds me, I need more heels hehe. I'm gng to be studying again real soon but a day closer to promos =  a day closer to freedom right? (:

Hole in One

My daddy and aunt are here in Singapore!!! Well not the best time to come cause I'm in the midst of preparing for promos but yay! My little brother and I went to the airport to fetch them today. Something about me is that I tend to dress as if I'm traveling out of the country when I go to the airport. I'll either wear knit wears, caps or jackets. The airport just gives me a really good vibe and even though I'm not traveling overseas, it feels nice to dress up as if I was.

So for my airport ensemble today, I decided to pair my romper with a military jacket and a cap. I knew I wanted to wear a cap to the airport and in fact, I matched my outfit according to my cap HAHAHA! It's like the reverse of things. People choose their accessories based on what they're wearing. Well today I chose what to wear based on my accessory.

The romper is available in blue, coral and white! Me being me, I obviously went with white. There's just something about white apparels. It's really simple and easy to match. I thought that the material of this self manufactured romper was really good. It had an inner lining which was smooth and comfortable to be in.

What caught my eye about this romper was the cut up portion at the top. Gives your basic romper a little twist don't you think? Ironically, the only problem I have with this romper is basically that. It kind of 'cuts off' your neck which makes you look a little fatter :/ Length wise, I was really happy about it cause it fits me just nice which as usual, you know what that means! Probably going to be a little too short for taller girls.

Paired it with as oversize military jacket to complete my street chic look. I included the last photo just to show you guys another way of wearing this romper. The photo was taken about a week back. I went for a more girly look that night with a clutch and my favourite pair of colour block heels.

PS. Econs is killing me ):

50 Shades of Blue

Been studying History for the past 4h and my head is about to explode. So much facts stored in there hahaha! But I'll nvr hate studying History cause I really love the subject and I actually enjoy the process of studying it. Sounds really nerdy but History is actually interesting :D

Well we all need a break right? I've reached the point where I know I won't be able to memorise anything so I might as well stop studying. Thought it would be nice and relaxing to blog while listening to music. Really random but I've been listening to a lot of Chinese songs and my sister was making fun of me. She said why are you only listening to JJ now when everyone was listening 5 years back? HAHAHA!

Ok back to this post. I'm really way too tired to write much so I thought I'd do more of a picture kind of post. I've recently realised that I wear A LOT of blue and white. It isn't on purpose but I just somehow tend to end up wearing blue, white, or even both tgt! I'm going to feature those photos here. Some might have been blogged before and I honestly am not sure how many photos there are. I'm just going to hop on over to my instagram and find photos of me in those colours.

I'm not going to write where I bought my accessories and shoes from. It's going to take forever if I do so but you can drop a comment if you want to know! (:
