Chock Full of Beans

To celebrate the end of CTs, I made a brunch date with my sister the day after(: We decided to try out Chock Full of Beans after seeing their cute coffee art on IG haha! To be honest, the only reason why I really wanted to go there was to take a photo of their coffee and instagram it #confessiontime Turns out, the location was really convenient for us too! It's located at Changi and is about a 10mins drive away from our place. Perfect for a lazy day out. We were saying how we can forsee ourselves gng to Chock Full of Beans really often now that we know about this place.

Upon arriving, we managed to find a parking lot after waiting for about 10mins. The parking lot is conveniently located right next to the cafe. Most of their seats are located outdoors so I'm quite glad I tied my hair up that day haha! We didn't have to wait long as well so that's good. But anw, they have a waiting list system if it's crowded so you basically just leave down your contact number and they'll call you when it's about to be your turn.

Vanilla Latte ($5)
Rose Latte ($5.90)

And here's the really cute coffee art I was dying to see haha! There's actually a 3D coffee art too but I'm not sure what drink it's for. It's just really adorable and smth different from the usual coffee art. Their drinks comes in 2 sizes and we both got it in the smaller one.

Brulee French Toast ($9)

Here's what I got. There's 2 choices for toppings for the french toast and the one I ordered was caramelized bananas, chocolate sauce and nuts. The other topping available is peach and maple syrup. Both are served with whip cream and seasonal mixed fruits. Even though the portion seems small, it's actually really filling. Didn't manage to finish this actually! I guess it's cause it's bread. My sister ate a bite and said that she's pretty sure I won't be able to finish it hahaha

Portobello Benedict ($12)

The sister wanted eggs bennedict that day so here's what she got! Tried a bite of it and the egg was pretty good! It's quite filling too cause of the toast.

See what I mean by picture perfect? Haha! The price there is really reasonable too! Our total bill was about $32 but we were expecting it to be around $40. You know, the usual price. It usually cost about $20 per person if you order a drink as well so we were pleasantly surprised. The only tiny problem with the place is that there's flies. I mean it's outdoors so I guess that's why. We both actually got a mosquito bite on our leg after dining there haha! At a point of time, there was a small bee flying around too and I was really panicky but luckily, it didn't come over to my side. It was flying around my sister but she calmly stayed still (?) Well, as still as she could haha! The do have seats indoor too but it's quite limited!

PS. Getting used to my bangs hohoho
