Dusk

This set of photos have got to be my favourite from this trip! Heyse takes really nice photos and a huge thanks for helping snap these photos! (:

I was watching Running Man a few months ago when I saw a guest wearing an all white outfit and since then, I've been on the search for textured top and skirts. So I guess you can say that this outfit is very Korean inspired. Many of my friends thought that it's a dress/ 2 piece set but I actually got them from different shops! The skirt is from a long time ago from LB and I bought the top from AFA to go with it. Both textured, a perfect pairing.

And cause HK was freezing that day, it was time to bring out my thick coat and knee high boots! This coat is definitely my favourite because it's the perfect length and cutting. Coats really complete an outfit during the winter season and I always say it's a good decision to invest in a coat of good quality(:

Just to sidetrack a little but the sky turns dark really fast during the winter season?!?! The 6pm sky in HK is pretty much the 9pm one in Singapore. Talk about misleading!

Black Joggers and Slip Ons

Chanced upon this hidden corner when Heyse and I were lost in Mongkok. Not exactly lost but we were wandering around trying to follow Google Map. Travelling with your friend has got to be the best thing ever cause you can afford to get lost/wander and not panic haha!

I am so happy to have found the perfect pair of leather joggers! I got this pair from Topshop under the Petite section and it's really a lot more short. They do have the regular one as well but it looks really long. Probably for those above 1.65m. The problem with buying joggers is that you can't alter it so you really have to find the one with a perfect length for you. Check out Topshop is you want to get one!

And I can't help but smile/laugh/giggle over the pair of shoes I'm wearing. I got them from F21 in HK and they may look like normal loafers but they're actually slip ons. Think of a cross between flip flops and loafers. Heyse and I both bought it because it was so interesting! And of course, super convenient.

As for my bag, I got it from Ete, I.T in HK as well! I.T is having a crazy sale and i got the bag at an insane discount! So much love for HK and I can't wait to explore it even more!

Biker

Hong Kong has been getting colder these few days. It's so rare that the temperature drops to single digits so early this year. So it's time to bring out them jeans, boots, beanies and to do tons of layering!

I wore this outfit for my day trip to China to visit my relatives. I knew I was going to go strawberry picking (one of my niece's favourite thing to do) and so I decided to use this pair of boots. Perfect for stepping onto the field and getting mud all over haha! A very good buy cause HnM was having a sale and I got this at half price off! ($200 HKD, $34 SGD) Say whaaaaaaat

Fall Essentials

Fall essentials:
Parka (check)
Basic Knits (check)
Shorts (check)
Sneakers (check)

Of course there are other items which I deem fall worthy but I'll be focusing on these few items today! A parka is a definite must in everyone's wardrobe this rainy season because they're so versatile and comfy as well. Especially for tropical countries such as Singapore where a thin outerwear will keep you warm for the rainy season. For colder countries, layering will do the trick!

Knits are also essential as well, especially plain, single coloured ones in my opinion! It's really so easy to change it up cause you can add a statement necklace, layer it, wear a jacket over etc. Printed knits are cute as well but it's really obvious when you wear it again. Not a problem if you're fine with that! In fact, printed knits are really super adorable but I prefer plain coloured ones to mix and match(:

Shorts and sneakers are a definite must too. I know the New Balance craze has been on for quite some time but they make really cute sneakers (plus it's comfy!). When I say shorts, it actually encompasses all kind of shorts; denim, tartan, plaid, skorts. I prefer shorts over skirts because the fall/winter season tends to have really strong wind and skirts are just inconvenient. Unless I'll be indoors most of the time or wearing a long coat over, I prefer shorts to skirts.

Winter Grey

First outfit post taking in HK! HK's weather is quite erratic and the temperature varies day by day. Just 2 days ago, it was 23 degrees and today, it's around 15 degrees. Took the chance to wear my midi out with a thin knit on the bright, sunny day 2 days ago cause I didn't want to wear a jacket with it.

I have had this outfit in my mind since the day I bought these items. Everything on me is new actually and I was saving them for this trip! What I love about the top is definitely the collar bit cause it makes it ultra preppy and adorable. Perfect with a white midi(:

Anywho just to share a little on the purpose of my trip to HK. The very first week was spent with a group of closest friends of mine in HK, bringing them around places and being all tourist. It's actually a first for me travelling around HK on tourist mode cause I'm usually with my family who knows where they want to go. I really enjoyed the past 7 days, getting lost and having to ask people for directions. I've met so many kind ppl along the way and it's really an eye opener. Well my friends have left alr and I'm gng to explore HK alone which is super exciting!! All the way till 22nd dec when Vanessa comes to HK and joins me in my mini exploration(:

Prom; Capture Those Moments

It never fails to amaze me how fast time flies by. Just earlier this year, I was happily shopping for my prom dress and in a blink of an eye, MYEs, prelims, pre As, A levels are over and here I am, sitting on my bed in Hong Kong, looking through photos and blogging about the glitz and glamour of prom. I won't lie but as prom drew nearer, I got lazy for it hahaha. I was just anticipating for my trip to HK and nothing else seems to be able to raise the bar. Glad I went for prom still cause I had such a memorable night(:

Here are some photos with 2SR01! Couldn't have imagined JC without you guys. Yes, there were dramas now and then but then again, what class can be totally cohesive. In fact, it's quite scary if our class fits into that category cause we're all Arts students and you know, we tend to be more expressive in our words and actions. Love you guys to bits and thanks for being my friends!

Here are some with my Shanghai buds. For being such lovely people throughout the trip and building a friendship beyond that trip.

And a few more with those whom I had the privilege of crossing paths with. Thanks for being who you are!

Last but not least, a huge gigantic hug for the JCJA clan. For being the best friends anyone can ever dream of having. All our differences somehow adds up and we complement each other so very well. I can't imagine JC without you guys and I know it's been less than a day since you guys left HK but I'm missing you alr!
