Wild West

Going to theme parks during winter means it's a must to wear jeans cause it's just so much more convenient and you won't end up freezing when on roller coasters. Which is why I actually bought a pair just before I flew off to Gold Coast. If you don't know, I'm not a huge fan of jeans cause they're almost impossible to wear in sunny Singapore and I feel really constrained in them. Plus it's harder to find the right pair of jeans for petite girls (as all my other petite friends agree) and so I was kind of skeptical about getting them but I had no choice so oh well.

Safari Girl

I have always, always, like really always wanted to wear a floppy hat out because I know it'll look pretty good in photos but wearing a huge hat in Singapore just seems a little too exaggerated. That's exactly why I packed all my floppy hats for Bali cause you know, when you're a tourist, you can pretty much wear whatever you want and no one will judge you.

Went for a safari girl kind of look with brown and sand tones. This is actually one of my favourite floppy hats and it's from Stradivarius (borrowed from Heyse). Would have bought one myself but this colour is currently sold out which kind of sucks but what are friends for if you can't borrow their stuff right hahaha. Going to pack this little hat to HK as well and here's an advance thank you to Heyse haha!

#Throwback

A little throwback outfit post cause....  I JUST BOOKED TICKETS TO HONG KONG!!!!! Yeah, again haha. I wasn't planning for it initially but we say that Cathay Pacific was having a promo and decided to go for it!

After going so many times to HK, many things have changed but I realised smth that has always remain. People love (like really love) to wear jeans with sneakers. It's like the 'in thing' there and so I decided to finally jump on the bandwagon and wore my jeans and sneakers for a day of exploration at Ocean Park! Keeps me warm + comfy to walk in.

Probably not the most flattering style if you don't have the height and figure to be honest but nevertheless, the comfort of it all outweighs whatever problems there is haha!

PS. Clearly insanely happy with the bow I bought in HK

Human Curiosity

Worked on a little photography project with my friend Donna for her portfolio for Lasalle awhile back! The theme for this set of photos was "Human Curiosity" which explains why I'm poking the river with a stick in the last photo hahaha!

Featuring a floral midi which took me around 6 months to wear it out cause I always found it too girly. Haha but Donna told me to dress like a princess so the tag's finally off and I'm finally wearing it. And a simple white blouse to complete the look!

Put A Bow On It

You know how on certain days, you're just in the zone? Well the day this set of photos was taken, it wasn't that kind of day which explains the lack of photos. Van and I were walking outside Grand Hyatt HK and didn't really feel inspired by anything much and so we decided to just snap a few shots and leave. In fact, it went on for the whole day cause luck wasn't on our side when we went to Lan Kwai Fung and entered probably the worse bar possible.

But I thought I'd still share these photos cause I really like the colour tones of the outfit. I know I say that I don't really like wearing pink but this skirt comes in pastel pink which is so hard to resist! It's really rather princess ish and perfect for tea that day. Oh and check out my new kicks which I got from IT! Funnily enough, I entered IT cause they were having a major sale but the only thing I bought was something at its original price. Oh well, still got it anw cause a bow makes everything better (:

Parisian Dreams

And this set of photos marks the very first time I used red lip gloss. I've never been a fan of red cause I've always thought that I wouldn't be able to pull it off. And that explains why this romper has been lying in my wardrobe for a good 6 months. Decided to finally wear it cause I thought it'd look good against this white backdrop!

So my family went for a photo exhibition to show some love and support for my brother about a month back and this was what I wore there. Had to wear this romper with heels cause it's a little too long for me. But I didn't want to alter it shorter cause it flares out at the bottom which means that it's really prone to 'flying' when the wind blows haha!

Oh and I've also just recently played around with IG's new filters. (Super slow I know)

Haha got to say, they're pretty awesome!

PS. Humongous blue black on my knee if from falling off my bed (Things only I do hahaha)

Dear Victoria,

Exploring HK with your friends means going to all the tourist attractions and this means, visiting Victoria Harbour. I've actually been here 3 times during this trip but just at different points of Victoria Harbour. For this set of photos, Vanessa and I randomly chanced upon this area actually. We were having lunch At Tsim Sha Tsui when my aunt suggested that we come over to take photos. We didn't know it was Victoria Harbour till we got there.

Decided to go for grey and black tones that day because winter is kind of a gloomy season. This was an outfit that wasn't planned and I just thought of it the day before. The dress here is actually the same as the one that I wore in Wild and Young. Basic dresses are always the best cause they're so easy to pair with!

Oh and featuring a hairstyle that is so winter worthy. I basically tied a dutch braid across my head and finished it off with a side bun. The best part is, it isn't suppose to be neat. So this hairdo takes maybe about 5 mins to do. For some reason, my bun tends to end up being very neat so I actually took bobby pins and random strands of hair from my bun and pinned them. It helps achieve the messy look and also means that you can adjust it till you like how it looks!
