Abstract

 

Not a fan of shorts but I didn't really have much of a choice since I went to places where it'd be inconvenient to wear a dress. So I put on my favourite pair of Roxy denim! Absolutely in love with shorts from Roxy! They are the comfiest shorts ever and they last for such a long time! Actually had this pair for about 3 years and they are still in tip top condition! Paired it with a Van Gogh Peplum Top in Mono from The Velvet Dolls and my cute little jacket from Amber Avenue and I'm ready to go! This top is actually my sisters' but it caught my eye the minute I opened my wardrobe. It was just so pretty and I definitely had to wear it at least once hehehe (So awesome to have a sister to share clothes) Got my green jacket a while back from AA and it's still my fav piece from AA! It goes well with everything. I can wear it with a plain dress, shorts or a skirt. Never regretted getting this outerwear. Well I was dressed so casually cause I was out furniture shopping! Managed to settle the tiles for the toilets and got a really pretty floral bed sheet(: Well this day had been eventful and I can't wait for the renovation to start!

Dance.

I've been dancing latin and ballroom for about 4 years now. At the beginning, it was just for fun so I didn't go regularly. I guess I've probably been dancing latin regularly for about 2 years. Latin dance is really something that I'm passionate about. Every time a music plays, I start imagining dance steps in my head. When I dance, it feels like I'm alone on the dance floor. It gives me the chills that I've never felt before.

Unfortunately, I stopped last year around September because of my exams. I haven't started going back yet and I'm not sure if I will. Don't get me wrong. I love to dance but I've been so busy lately! School just started and I want to settle down first (:

As you can see, dancing have seen me through the toothless smile, braces day and brand new smile. HAHAHA! I've had a lot of amazing experiences during my dancing days but I've also had bad ones. It's hard for someone who doesn't do latin dance to understand but there are a lot of politics going on. It's hard to find someone who genuinely feels happy for you because everyone is just so competitive. I really really don't like being in an environment where I have to second guess if what someone says is true. That's one of the reason why I haven't gone back to latin dancing. Nevertheless, dancing will forever be my passion and the wonderful experiences that I've had throughout those years will stay in my heart.
